Europe has Started the Deportation of Migrants
At dawn this morning under heavy police and military guard on the Greek Isle of Lesbos, the European Union(EU) sent bus loads of migrant men onto ferries and across the sea back to Turkey - the first hundred or so of many returns the EU intends toward solving its migrant crisis.
Despite opposition from humanitarian and rights groups, the European deportation of migrants has been initiated. The EU, according to the Washington Post, confirmed that 131 migrants had been sent across Aegean Sea to Turkey on two ferries and that the group comprised mainly Pakistanis with some Moroccans, Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis.
However, there is a fear that along with some Syrians, the migrants could be returned to their conflict worn homes becoming re-exposed to more violence and possible death.
