Awaiting Signatures in the Ukraine

Ukrainians will gather again this Sunday, December 15 in Independence Square in Kiev to demonstrate to their government their seemingly unyielding aspirations for closer ties to the European Union(EU) rather than rustic Russia. "We invite everyone to come to our rally at midday on Sunday" is the word from opposition leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Meanwhile, first deputy prime minister Serhiy Arbuzov has reaffirmed that the Ukraine would "soon sign" the EU pact at a meeting in Brussels. Earlier, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said President Viktor Yanokovych had told her he would sign the deal with the EU. So all that remains to be done to calm the sea of protests across the Ukraine are signatures from the appropriate people...sign somebody...sign!
