A Prayer for Peace at Easter

On this Easter Sunday, I encourage and I ask that all sparring, warring and feuding parties to conflicts and crises, observe a 48-hour period of peace, for Christ's sake. On this day, may we pray for the children victims of war, from Syria to Central African Republic and South Sudan. May we pray for the missing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and for the families of South Korea's ferry disaster. Lets pray for those dead and missing in the Oso, Washington, landslide and for those adventurers of the Himalayan avalanche. And less not we forget, we pray for those who have given their lives for our freedoms during the course of their duties. May God forgive us. May he Bless us and may he grant us solace. Amen.
