Apart from the much anticipated spectacular kaleidoscopes of Fall flora across towns, villages, hillsides, valleys and mountain tops, along with desires for cooler temperatures, and premature wishes of early snows; this coming Autumn of 2020 holds many prospects toward good changes, hopes and aspirations for humanity.
Clearly, the mere advent of Autumn 2020, will not be any magic wand nor cure to ameliorating humanity's woes. However, even amid a persistent deadly and highly contagious pandemic, which has thus far infected more than 21-million people worldwide and has killed in excess of 761,000 unfortunate victims, this Autumn of 2020 offers the kinds of events that could initiate humanity's recovery and peaceful cohesive continuity from a pandemic, political division, global de-coupling, agitation, social injustice, Climate Change and other adverse affairs.
The United States (US) Presidential Election on November 3, 2020, carries great weight in determining a secure future for humanity. I submit that a Democratic Party win by the Biden and Harris ticket would act as a healing instrument to not only Americans, but the whole world in general when rational thought, empathy, decency, respect of allies, fair trade and global cooperation could return to international safety and security for all peoples in systems of liberty, opportunity and equality under the rule of law. This is the offered good change of the Autumn of 2020 for which I long.
[Restricted from Global Travel this year because of COVID-19, I remain close to home in Washington, DC. I'll take a break from writing this Blog until the March on Washington, August 28, 2020. I'll spend even more time with my family and allot necessary time to accessing my Sons' education for the Fall Semester, along with time to assisting in the return to a sensible White House. To all of you, thanks for your support and readership. Do not become complacent of COVID-19; protect yourselves, loved ones and communities. Wear facial masks and social distance when possible, stay well, stay alive. May God Bless!]
