In time, the learned scientists and researchers of the world will trace and determine the origin of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). They will develop antivirals to fight this deadly mysterious pathogen. They will also engineer a vaccine against this disease.
In the mean time, full priority, focus and efforts should be applied to pushing back against COVID-19. But to achieve this feat, politicizing and blaming of the pandemic should cease forthwith.
Divided armies are never as successful as united fronts. So, with COVID-19 as the sub-microscopic contagious deadly enemy, then a united international cooperative is needed in order to beat the disease.
Yet, repeated attempts to politicize and to blame over this pandemic continue to surface contributing to deflection and delay of the crucial tasks needed to save and to protect human life and health against COVID-19.
Humanity's priority toward defeating COVID-19, in spite of all previous confirmed ill-preparedness and neglect, should focus on rectifying and limiting the scope of this disease at this present moment in time. Worldwide infections from COVID-19 now number over 2.2 million and sadly, deaths are approaching 150,000. In the United States (US), infections are approaching 680,000 with over 34,000 deaths.
Therefore, with regards to COVID-19 in the US and with public health as a priority as proclaimed by the leadership of most States Governors, adequate and reliable testing for COVID-19 with Federal assistance, along with continued social distancing and adherence to health guidelines, should be recognized as the goals of this moment in time in fighting COVID-19.
