To Weather Current Stresses - Diseases, Bad Harvests, Conflicts, Agitations, etc

As the World Health Organization (WHO) reports that the 1,000-death threshold has been breached in ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), alarming cases of Measles are proving troublesome in the United States (US), bad harvests are setting up a period of gloom in North Korea amid the reality that thousands more children could die in the ongoing conflict in Yemen.

These are but a few of the affairs facing humanity on this third day, of May, 2019; thereby confirming current stresses facing the human species that need to be weathered in order to ensure the continuity of the human species on Planet Earth.

Add an unsuccessful ceasefire attempt for Ramadan in Afghanistan, threats of terror, natural disasters, the ongoing aspirations of Ukraine, youthful Hong Kongers, and Venezuelans, the exploits in Sudan, Algeria, conflicts in Libya and Syria, a strengthening dictator in Egypt, the plight of Palestinians, political divisions, 'yellow vests protests in France, an isolating US and right wing agitations from Germany to the US, humanity is awashed in issues.

Yet, as was the case today as it has been on many recent Fridays, our Planet's children and their movement to strike from school to draw attention to and to prod action on Climate Change, Fridays for Future (FFF), stand as but one glorious vanguard of hope for our Planet.
