Toward the Return of Stability and Rational Thought

Humanity is stressed and stretched. From the mocking of sexual abuse victims, to the tragedy and deaths of natural disasters, to continued conflict, to political agitations, to a trade war, to the detention of migrant children, to an ebola crisis and to rumors of more conflicts, humanity is clearly well taxed at this juncture in 2018.

However, the world's issues and affairs do not necessarily need to continue the way they are at present. As the human race, as people, as citizens of Planet Earth and as the guardians of our own fate, humanity has the power to ameliorate current stresses.

But this feat can only occur if enough people demand the necessities needed to better conditions and to bring relief to those in dire need. Empathy for others and a change of offending policies are simple immediate actions that could be taken to usher in peace and security to all.

The return to stability and rational thought as victors over instability and irrational acts is at hand and rests solely in the decision of the people - we the people.
