Democracy - like a living organism, will continue to evolve and to adapt under certain conditions and environments to form governments of the people by the people. Yet, there are inherent strains upon that system of government.
The identity of these strains might vary from event, to nation and to year, yet their existence offer even more democratic understanding in order to tweak that which has irritated and disillusioned many believers in democracy.
Systems that allow the non majority winner to rule following an election will have to be adjusted and so would the policy that allows non informative voters to influence an election when knowledge of the effect of a vote should be pre-requisite before voting to ensure the continuity of the greatness of a people and of a nation.
There is work yet to done on democracy. It is a work and a system in progress. Its strains are not necessarily inevitable, yet it must continue to allow for perpetual adaptation in order to meet these changing dynamic times.
