From here forward, whatever further punishment Russia and Bashar al Assad execute upon the people in the rebel held areas of Aleppo, would never be enough to reverse the inevitable tide of extremism that will rise and spread from that city because of the martyrdom witnessed there.
The slaughter of innocent children and civilians and the bombings of medical centers in Aleppo by Russian and by the Assad forces, could have a long lasting effect upon the future stability of the Levant, the Middle East and the globe.
Avenging and surviving victims of Aleppo, their children, their sympathizers and their friends, cannot be fairly expected to ever forget the Aleppo carnage of 2016.
The call for an investigation by western nations into the ghastly destruction of Aleppo for possible war crimes committed by both Russia and the Syrian regime, also will not be enough to prevent the infection of established extremism from rising out of the martyrdom of Aleppo.
However, the extremism born out of Aleppo should be restricted to that region and to the concerns of Russia and of Bashar al Assad.
