In each conflict, victims are always of three classes of unfortunates - the poor, the innocent and the passive.
Though the convoluted tipping point to conflicts are usually shrouded in some obscure cause as the root, always the eventual victims inevitably become the poor, the innocent and the passive.
Therefore, the poor, the innocent and passive, must always become the most vocal of anti-war activists because no conflict not initiated by them is ever designed to benefit them, but to wane their populations.
From Syria, to Iraq, to Afghanistan, to Ukraine, to Libya, to South Sudan, to Sudan, to Yemen and elsewhere, the victims of war remain the people - the civilians, the women, the children and the elderly. Modern warfare as it has been waged does not literally pit ideological opposites on opposing ends of battlefields. Modern theaters of war are the cities, towns, hamlets, communities, hospitals, homes and social centers of the innocents. Hence, innocents die in shameful numbers.
Malthusian theory is manifested in each and every conflict, thus providing credence that wars are undoubtedly about population control despite some accepted assumable other truth for warring. Moreover, given that the poor, the innocent and the passive are always the victims of war, then these classes of individuals should always unite in their anti-war actions.
