It could now be deduced that one thing is certain in the realm of world affairs and relations: a new dawn of an era of uncertainty has arrived.
Not to be taken as a mere pessimistic conclusion, the reality of the continued execution of the Syrian war with the new direct involvement of Russia, clearly muddles any hope of a certain quick conclusion. Thus, as the Syrian war has destabilized nations from the Middle East to Europe, an escalation of effects could be expected.
Contrary to an end of the conflict, Russia's agenda to shore up the brutal damned regime of Bashar al Assad, affirms the further rise and spread of extremism stemming from the Levant. More Syrians opposed to the atrocities of Assad will become more radicalized because of Russia's direct fighting for Assad.
Moreover, should the conflict not abate by the Spring of 2016, this year's refugee crisis at the borders of Europe, stands to be dwarfed by the numbers of forthcoming Syrian refugees in 2016.
While Germany and a few other nations have expressed the opinion that Russian collaboration is needed to help end the Syrian war, collaboration is a far cry from direct military involvement, fighting and engagement. The present unprecedented military action by Russia in Syria, threatens an uncertain outcome. Therefore a new dawn of uncertainty has arrived in the realm of global security and stability.
