Children, it has been a long ten months since my last note to you - not that I had forgotten you, but because of the shame I carry because humanity has failed you.
That humanity has failed to end the modern day calamity that is the Syrian war, which has killed more than 200,000 of your peers, your parents, your families, your friends and your neighbors, is a sad testament of our modern times. That international organizations and world powers have failed to bring you peace and prosperity is an abomination of the tenets of natural law and of the human spirit.
In my last note to you, Friday, October 31, 2014, I apologized after it became apparent that the international strategy to combat the added violence of the Islamic State(IS), would not include your direct liberation. Since then, some of you have fallen and more of you have become displaced, while too small number of you have found some measure of comfort as guests of a few accepting nations.
Yet, I urge all of you to continue steadfastly in the belief that peace will soon come to the Levant. And until then, I pray that you retain your ideals of freedom and of democracy and of equality and of the rule of law.
Mostly, however, I encourage you to age with the understanding that your land is your land and that you have a natural right to all that is gifted by the Creator. Build within your future dwelling places the necessary systems to discourage war and to promote peace and cooperativeness. May you find peace and prosperity!
