As the Word joins Pakistan to mourn the senseless slaughter of 148 children and adults at a school in Peshawar, Pakistan yesterday, that tragic event instills a qualm of a rising wave of fanaticism from Belgium to Canada to Australia amid the likelihood of similar events elsewhere.
Extremist groups like Al Qaeda, the IS, the Taliban and the others that have set the stage, the propaganda, the support and the fallible rational for deprived groups or individuals to carry out such un-Godly acts of cowardice against innocents, must be rejected. These groups must not be allowed to stand. The stark unconscionable brazenness of these groups and their sympathizers, explicitly infer that they are evil. Thus, there can be no basis for negotiation nor dialogue with them. Total annihilation of these groups can be the only avenue to solace and comfort of populations exposed to such raw violence.
Though some observers may argue that if these groups are destroyed, then others might emerge, then that bridge could be crossed should it be erected. Nonetheless, the barbaric nature of these unconscionable groups and individuals, justify their removal forthwith from humanity.
